- Students will actively explore, research and solve complex problems to develop a deep understanding of 21st century academics rather than surface awareness.
- Students will be immersed in a college ready atmosphere.
- There will be high expectations for all students. Our rigorous curriculum will prepare students to get into college, stay in college, and achieve success in the workplace.
- Classroom practices will be student-centered where students take more responsibility for their learning and are required to exhibit higher order thinking skills.
- Teachers will identify "best practices", collaborate, and share with other teachers to better serve the needs of all students.
- All students will be assisted in opening a "College Foundation of North Carolina" account for online applications and scholarship information and will participate in college visits and fairs.
