In
addition to basic graduation requirements, East Wake School of Engineering
Systems (EWSES) will emphasize and encourage all students to become proficient
in engineering thinking processes. Students will master the following

Wake School of Engineering Systems will join a national organization entitled
Project Lead the Way to support our school goals and strategies.
Project Lead the Way is a network of secondary schools, universities
and corporate partners that provides an education program focused on assisting
students with knowledge needed to compete in engineering and technology-based
careers. EWSES will offer several Project Lead the Way courses
and require all 9th grade students to enroll in Introduction ot Engineering
Design. Other PLTW courses include:
