Learning Team Updates

EWSIT staff worked on the following during our most recent Professional Learning Team (PLT) meetings:

Week 11: EWSIT teachers completed a review of our students' first quarter progress in order to develop and share Personal Education Plans. We are committed to success for each and every student.

We will provide regular updates on the work of our learning teams!

School Messenger Updates

EWSIT School Messenger Update—
Week of Nov. 23-27:
Parents--Please help support SIT's food drive to benefit the Wendell Helping Hand Mission. SIT students and staff are collecting items to donate to local families in need. The mission is in need of canned goods.  If your student could help by donating canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, or stuffing mix, the mission will be able to prepare Thanksgiving baskets for area families. Donations can be dropped off in the boxes outside the SIT office, and we will take them to the mission on Tuesday.
We have just completed the third week of the 2nd quarter, so please be sure to check your students' progress reports. Do not hesitate to contact any teacher or our counselor if you are concerned about your child's academic progress.
School will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 25 through Friday, Nov. 27. We wish all of our families a Happy Thanksgiving!

2009-10 Calendar and Early Release Wednesdays

The 2009-10 bell schedule provides weekly one hour early dismissal on Wednesdays for all students. On six of those Wednesdays, schools will release 2.5 hours early for school-wide faculty professional development.
